Union Baseball Complex

About the Union Baseball Complex

Located a short distance behind (west) of the Union 9th Grade Center, the facility was originally constructed in the mid 1980’s.  Seating capacity is over 500, including standing room.

Several other new features and renovations have been added to the Union Baseball Complex  in recent years:  refurbished bullpen areas, remodeled entry-way and a concrete walkway,  updated concession stand equipment, and a state-of-the-art indoor clubhouse and practice facility.

The Indoor Facility

The Indoor Facility, completed prior to the 2010 season, helps keep the Union Baseball/Softball Complex among the most beautiful high school baseball and softball facilities in the nation.  The structure includes players’ locker room, player lounges, coaches offices, men’s and women’s restrooms, sports medicine training room, equipment room, ticket office, weight room, trophy case and a regulation sized infield with 6 retractable hitting cages.

The Union baseball program would like to extend its warmest thanks to the vision of former Head Coach Bill Springman, former Booster Club President Ken Kinnear, the Union Public Schools administration, and the Union community at large, for  making the Union Indoor facility a reality.  Thank you!
